Responsibilities
- Design electronics PCBAs for spacecraft including architecture, component selection, circuit board design, board bring up, and debugging.
- Qualify designs through environmental testing including vibration, shock, thermal, and thermal vacuum testing.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate designs into spacecraft systems and operate hardware in flight.
- Develop test equipment, development PCBAs, and test scripts to assist with design and testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or related STEM field.
- Experience designing PCBAs using MII, multi-GHz SerDes (JESD204), DRAM (DDR4), and/or Ethernet.
- Experience with digital processors, FPGAs, memory chips, or network switches (nice to have).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Rust, C/C++ (nice to have).
- Experience with environmental testing for space electronics (nice to have).
- Ability to work in a highly cross-functional role on fast-paced projects.
- Willingness to apply even if not meeting 100% of preferred skills and experience.
