Responsibilities
- Owner of RFQs, ensuring all commercial terms are documented and negotiated.
- Drive price and tooling negotiations to meet pricing and quality standards.
- Address all areas of category management, including business plans and sourcing strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and partner with Design teams to mitigate supply challenges.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and dispute resolution.
- Participate in design reviews and drive cost-effective decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to manage project timelines and communicate key issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years.
- 2 years of experience in Mechanical Systems and Metallics commodity management.
- Experience in managing custom, build-to-order parts.
- Proficient in reading and negotiating supplier contracts.
- Technical fluency in MS Office products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices.
