Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and analyze a lander propulsion system to meet mission performance and safety goals.
- Define propulsion architectures and system-level requirements focused on manufacturability and integration.
- Drive component-level design and support system verification testing.
- Conduct fluid analysis and performance tests to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems integration teams for seamless development.
- Create and manage supplier Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Oversee the full lifecycle of propulsion system components, from design to flight operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle propulsion systems.
- Hands-on experience with fluid, electrical, and mechanical systems in aerospace.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles and material selection for spaceflight hardware.
- Experience with fluid dynamics and pressurized components.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and fluid analysis tools is a plus.
