Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability plans for ultrafast and UV laser products.
- Design and execute accelerated life tests and conduct environmental testing.
- Lead root cause analysis for field returns and production failures.
- Collaborate with R&D to improve thermal management and mechanical stability.
- Analyze field and test data using statistical tools to build predictive degradation models.
- Support field service teams in diagnosing complex failures.
- Provide technical reports on reliability performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–8+ years of experience in reliability engineering or laser/optical systems.
- Experience with ultrafast lasers and UV laser systems.
- Strong understanding of laser physics and nonlinear optics.
- Familiarity with reliability analysis tools and methodologies.
- Strong root cause analysis skills.
- Preferred: Experience with industrial laser systems and Six Sigma or Reliability Engineering certification.
