Responsibilities
- Support assembly, integration, and test of system-level quantum computer deployments at customer data centers.
- Facilitate and lead daily deployment standups, coordinating on-site deployment activities.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Deployment and Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Develop tactical deployment plans for system-level customer installations.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action on production and in-field failures.
- Troubleshoot and correct equipment failures in-field during customer deployments.
- Support NPI, manufacturing, and process development activities on new product programs.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in high-tech, engineering-driven manufacturing environments.
- Experience with complex optical systems, lasers, and free-space optical systems.
- Strong customer-focused mindset and ability to interface with customers during on-site deployment.
- Mechanical, electrical, and optical equipment troubleshooting experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
- Experience in project management fundamentals, including creating and maintaining tactical plans.
