Vice President Design Engineering

The Vice President of Design Engineering will lead the engineering team responsible for the development and expansion of the Singleport robotic surgical platform, focusing on international product portfolio expansion and managing the full product lifecycle.

• Lead and oversee the Singleport engineering team for the development and integration of robotic medical devices.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for international expansion of the product portfolio.
• Maintain technical responsibility through the full product lifecycle, including prototype development and design.
• Drive adjacent procedure expansion leveraging clinical strategies.
• Ensure commercial readiness by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the engineering team.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and continuously improve product quality levels.

• MS degree in an engineering discipline; PhD desirable.
• 15+ years of experience in design engineering.
• 8+ years as a manager of technical personnel.
• Experience in Medical Device design and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with robotics and related technologies is highly desired.
• Proven experience in product development and project management of complex systems.
• Strong technical analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
