Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop requirements and specifications for new designs.
- Implement detailed designs in schematic form and oversee layout.
- Work with Firmware and Software engineering to test functionality of designs.
- Solicit feedback and make iterative improvements on designs based on various factors such as reliability and performance.
- Develop and execute test protocols to verify designs meet specifications.
- Collaborate with NPI and other engineering functions to transition designs to production.
- Act as a technical lead and mentor to junior team members.
Job Requirements
- At least 8 years of board design experience (or 6 years with a Master’s and 3 years with a PhD).
- Proficiency in digital board level PCA/PCB design.
- Experience with Verilog and FPGA design flows.
- Familiarity with power regulation and switched mode power supply design.
- Knowledge of design for electromagnetic compliance (EMC).
- Proficient in OrCAD Schematic capture (or equivalent).
- Ability to lead departmental and cross-functional projects.
