Responsibilities
- Represent Mechanical Engineering on cross-functional project teams for surgical and energy products.
- Translate clinical requirements and user needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Analyze and test product concepts and components.
- Perform risk analyses and develop design requirements, documenting and testing designs.
- Provide technical expertise for initial fixtures and assembly processes in collaboration with manufacturing teams.
- Support resolution of supply chain, manufacturing, and field issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting process and component problems to support production.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in product development (medical products preferred).
- Familiarity with all phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of design for reliability and manufacturing.
- Self-motivated with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle challenging situations with composure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
