Responsibilities
- Create new product architectures for next generation instruments based on specifications.
- Conceptualize and analyze complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies considering various engineering factors.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define design requirements.
- Analyze and test product designs for validation.
- Support production by troubleshooting design-related issues.
- Document engineering processes and specifications effectively.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in developing precision mechanical components and assemblies.
- Familiarity with new product introduction/development processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in engineering analysis and CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and medical device manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Willingness to travel periodically for supplier collaboration.
