Responsibilities
- Manage and support a team of Engineers to implement best-in-class robotic solutions.
- Conduct research and characterization of electromechanical architectures throughout the design lifecycle.
- Facilitate integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components in new robotic prototypes and products.
- Assess complex electro-mechanical devices for safety and clinical risk.
- Implement safety monitoring algorithms based on physics and risk analysis.
- Participate in clinical observations to ensure performance requirements are met.
- Document and pursue intellectual property and improve cross-functional workflows.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of people management experience or 3-5 years of technical leadership in a relevant role.
- Strong embedded C/C++ programming and electromechanical integration skills.
- Experience with classical and modern servo control systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Passion for product quality and continuous improvement.
- Master's degree in a robotics-related field with relevant experience or a Ph.D. with less experience.
- Familiarity with medical device standards and design control processes is preferred.
