Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-disciplinary design team to develop and verify advanced energy instruments.
- Manage requirements generation and system architecture.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks following ISO standards.
- Collaborate with test engineering teams to verify design requirements.
- Communicate technical progress and program risks to senior leadership.
- Mentor junior engineers and develop the technical team.
- Support quality and regulatory processes, including documentation for compliance.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of development experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience in electromechanical design and medical device development.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with FDA and ISO standards related to medical devices.
