Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-disciplinary design team for advanced energy instruments.
- Manage requirements generation and modeling.
- Develop and maintain system architecture and boundary diagrams.
- Identify risks and create mitigation strategies per ISO14971.
- Collaborate with test engineering teams to verify design requirements.
- Communicate technical progress and program risks to senior leadership.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years in development within a regulated environment.
- Experience in electromechanical design and medical device development.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with FDA and ISO standards related to medical devices.
