Responsibilities
- Develop logic design and RTL coding for CPUs.
- Participate in defining architecture and microarchitecture features.
- Optimize logic to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals.
- Review verification plans to ensure design features are verified correctly.
- Resolve and implement corrective measures for failing RTL tests.
- Document micro architectural specifications of CPU features.
- Support SoC customers for high-quality integration of the CPU block.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 3+ months coursework experience in Basic Logic Design, Microprocessors, and Computer Architecture.
- Relevant experience through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, or military experience.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and circuit techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a design team.
- Familiarity with design verification processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills related to RTL design and optimization.
