Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Responsible Propulsion Engineer for in-space propulsion system elements.
  • Conduct analysis and testing to ensure hardware performance meets specifications.
  • Create and execute development, acceptance, and qualification test campaigns.
  • Provide on-orbit mission support, including flight data reviews and anomaly resolution.
  • Perform mission-specific analysis and risk assessments for program stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to deliver reliable systems.
  • Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
  • 3+ years of experience in the aerospace propulsion field.
  • Experience with bipropellant rocket propulsion systems.
  • Proficiency in fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, and materials.
  • Hands-on experience with fluid, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
  • Ability to operate complex test systems, including vacuum pumps and chambers.
  • Demonstrated project ownership and collaborative skills in small teams.
