Responsibilities
- Serve as the Responsible Propulsion Engineer for in-space propulsion system elements.
- Conduct analysis and testing to ensure hardware performance meets specifications.
- Create and execute development, acceptance, and qualification test campaigns.
- Provide on-orbit mission support, including flight data reviews and anomaly resolution.
- Perform mission-specific analysis and risk assessments for program stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to deliver reliable systems.
- Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace propulsion field.
- Experience with bipropellant rocket propulsion systems.
- Proficiency in fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, and materials.
- Hands-on experience with fluid, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
- Ability to operate complex test systems, including vacuum pumps and chambers.
- Demonstrated project ownership and collaborative skills in small teams.
