Responsibilities
- Support Manufacturing Engineering teams in developing and improving manufacturing processes for space-grade components.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to produce reliable and cost-efficient hardware.
- Evaluate manufacturing techniques to identify optimal processes for fabricating parts.
- Create efficient assembly and inspection processes.
- Resolve technical issues with innovative solutions.
- Take project ownership and work effectively in a small team.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with basic fabrication tools and processes.
Job Requirements
- Completion or progress towards a degree in engineering or science.
- Ability to work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA.
- Familiarity with CAD software and willingness to learn new tools.
- Experience with product or process improvements preferred.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability and complex assemblies preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, build, and test phases of hardware projects.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR regulations.
