Responsibilities
- Design and build fluid, mechanical, and electrical test systems for rocket propulsion and spacecraft testing.
- Collaborate with teams across the company in Redondo Beach and Mojave.
- Perform test setup, hardware inspections, checkouts, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct test operations for rapid hardware development for spaceflight.
- Take ownership of projects and work effectively in a small team.
- Utilize hands-on skills with fluid or mechanical systems.
- Work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA or Mojave, CA for the internship duration.
Job Requirements
- Recent completion or progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
- Demonstrated ability to take project ownership and work well in a team.
- Hands-on experience with fluid or mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of components like valves, regulators, sensors, and power supplies.
- Prior experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical test equipment.
- Experience in propulsion development and/or testing is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship or eligibility to obtain required authorizations per ITAR.
