Responsibilities
- Maintain material specifications, product drawings, routing sheets, and manufacturing procedures.
- Design and debug manufacturing processes and tooling for various machines.
- Implement continuous improvements in tooling and manufacturing methods.
- Assist in reducing setup time and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing personnel.
- Determine root causes of persistent problems and assist in capital equipment justifications.
- Interface with other departments to resolve engineering issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 6+ months of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Familiarity with fastener manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience working with CNC machines is a plus.
- Master’s degree in engineering is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain access to export-controlled items.
