Responsibilities
- Work with suppliers to meet Honeywell's quality standards.
- Serve as the main contact within the supply base and support supplier development.
- Evaluate supplier quality systems and monitor quality metrics.
- Conduct root cause corrective actions on quality notifications.
- Train associates and suppliers in Six Sigma techniques.
- Manage cost savings projects resulting from quality improvements.
- Analyze complex issues and provide technical insights for risk assessment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 6 years of supplier quality engineering experience.
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Six Sigma techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings.
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9000, or IATF 16949 quality standards.
- Green belt certification required.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (40% domestic, 10% international).
