Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical design and structural analysis of rotating and static components.
- Support component and engine module testing across lifecycle stages.
- Generate detailed documentation of design, simulation, analysis, and test results.
- Present engineering artifacts during structured design reviews.
- Interpret engineering drawings using GD&T standards.
- Contribute to technical mentoring and process/tool improvements.
- Assist in knowledge capture and sharing within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, technology, or sciences).
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, simulation, and analysis in turbomachinery.
- Experience with ANSYS Mechanical software or comparable FEA software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis proficiency.
- Knowledge of turbomachinery test methodologies and testing experience.
- CAD modeling experience (e.g., NX, UG, Solidworks, CATIA).
- Strong writing, speaking, and presenting skills.
