Responsibilities
- Lead the design of electrical power architecture for supersonic and hypersonic aircraft.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish standards for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate power systems with vehicle components.
- Design and develop flight hardware and necessary ground/test equipment.
- Work with vendors to identify and implement commercial and custom solutions.
- Participate in hands-on hardware assembly and testing of prototype vehicles.
- Emphasize a fast-paced, iterative build and test environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with significant industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience in battery design, motor controllers, and high power electronic components.
- Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage DC systems and components.
- Familiarity with aerospace systems engineering practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages.
- Experience with hardware test and certification campaigns.
