Responsibilities
- Develop and own end-to-end manufacturing processes for complex mechanical components.
- Drive design for manufacturability by collaborating with design and development engineers.
- Define and optimize process parameters for manufacturing critical components.
- Lead first-article builds and troubleshoot process non-conformances.
- Own planning, operations, and scheduling for the sheet metal shop.
- Design and procure production tooling and test equipment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent component performance and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in precision component manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience with CNC machining, welding, or additive manufacturing.
- Proven ability to develop and scale new manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and material behavior under manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in a lab or production environment.
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and Lean manufacturing practices.
