Responsibilities
- Lead detailed project planning and drive hardware delivery on aggressive timelines.
- Collaborate with design teams to turn high-level concepts into detailed designs.
- Drive the transition from prototype to production for complex aerospace assemblies.
- Simplify processes by questioning complexity, deleting unnecessary parts, and reducing waste.
- Design and implement full-stack build processes including factory layout and vehicle integration.
- Develop and execute test procedures for flight hardware.
- Act as a force multiplier across production, test, and design teams.
Job Requirements
- Strong engineering first principles with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with physical hardware through internships or projects.
- Proven ability to design, build, and iterate quickly.
- Comfort with CAD, test equipment, and hand tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and GD&T fundamentals.
- Preferred experience in designing and releasing flight hardware.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.
