Aerodynamics Engineer

The Aerodynamics Engineer role at Hermeus involves contributing to the design and analysis of high-speed aircraft, focusing on advanced aerodynamic solutions for supersonic and hypersonic vehicles.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on aerodynamic designs for high-speed vehicles
• Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to assess aerodynamic performance
• Design and optimize vehicle configurations for hypersonic travel
• Participate in wind tunnel testing and experimental data analysis
• Develop and implement innovative aerodynamic solutions
• Work with other engineering disciplines for integrated vehicle design
• Ensure optimal performance, stability, and efficiency during high-speed flight

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience in aerodynamics and aerospace engineering
• Proficiency in CFD software and tools
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics principles
• Familiarity with aerodynamic design techniques for high-speed flight
• Solid programming skills in Python, MATLAB, etc.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
