Aerodynamics Engineer

The Aerodynamics Engineer will contribute to the design and analysis of high super sonic vehicles at Hermeus, focusing on advanced aerodynamic solutions for optimal performance during high-speed flight.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on aerodynamic designs for supersonic to hypersonic vehicles
• Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to assess aerodynamic performance
• Design and optimize vehicle configurations for high-speed flight
• Participate in wind tunnel testing and analyze experimental data
• Develop and implement innovative aerodynamic solutions
• Work with other engineering disciplines for integrated vehicle design
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export control regulations

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in aerodynamics and aerospace engineering
• Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics principles
• Familiarity with aerodynamic design techniques for high-speed flight
• Solid programming skills (Python, MATLAB)
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
