Responsibilities
- Assist in the integration of avionics, propulsion, and flight control systems into the aircraft platform.
- Conduct hands-on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and lab bench integration testing.
- Contribute to troubleshooting, data analysis, and root cause investigations of integration issues.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to debug and verify system-level functionality.
- Apply classroom learning and extracurricular project experience to real-world aerospace challenges.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
- Document testing processes and results for further analysis.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong extracurricular experience such as Formula SAE, Rocketry, CubeSat, AIAA Design/Build/Fly, UAV teams, or equivalent hands-on projects.
- Programming skills in Python, Rust, C/C++ or other languages.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning January, February, or March 2026.
- Experience with system integration testing, HIL/SIL test environments, or lab bench instrumentation is a plus.
- Passion for aviation, electrification, and sustainable technologies is desirable.
