This role is an internship for engineering students interested in nuclear energy, supporting a multidisciplinary technical team in reactor design, thermal-hydraulics, regulatory analysis, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Support reactor design and thermal-hydraulics analysis.
- Assist in regulatory analysis and compliance.
- Contribute to mechanical systems development.
- Engage in manufacturing process evaluations.
- Collaborate with engineers and project leads.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of microreactor development.
- Gain exposure to advanced nuclear technology and innovation.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Interest in nuclear energy and decarbonization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Familiarity with reactor physics tools and thermal-fluids modeling is a plus.
- Experience with CAD and mechanical design tools is beneficial.
- Self-starter with a passion for climate and clean energy innovation.
