Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of first-generation manufacturing systems and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic and process improvements.
- Provide feedback on manufacturability to design engineering teams.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles for efficient production.
- Drive upgrades and developments for high-reliability production.
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment for optimal performance.
- Identify and deploy automation opportunities based on ROI and technical evaluations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, especially in systems engineering or automation.
- Proven collaboration with design engineers on product development.
- Strong DFM expertise and ability to influence design decisions.
- Experience leading complex projects in fast-paced environments.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and team-building skills.
