Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to quality and compliance requirements.
- Onboard new customers to align factory capabilities with technical expectations.
- Assist in prioritizing work during peak production periods.
- Solve production defects and drive root cause analysis.
- Lead the transition to high-volume manufacturing and implement necessary process changes.
- Collaborate with software engineering to onboard new automated production assets.
- Adapt processes and infrastructure for high-volume production needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing with tight tolerances.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, especially software engineering.
- Master’s degree and 5+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with quality systems like AS9100 and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and software approaches (SQL, VBA, Python).
