The Manufacturing Engineer, Factory Development will drive process development and improvement projects, manage installation and build projects for new factories, and support problem-solving initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, planning, and buildout of future factories.
  • Establish operational standards across the factory.
  • Oversee major installation projects and functional factory area designs.
  • Take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
  • Analyze and resolve complex operational and technical challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth technical investigations for root cause analysis.
  • Implement long-term solutions to improve factory performance.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role (project leadership preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or another STEM field (or 5+ years of experience in high-intensity production environments).
  • Demonstrated success in process/system development in high-growth settings.
  • Strong track record in project execution and problem-solving.
  • Experience in facility deployment and construction is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Competency in software tools such as SQL, VBA, or Python.
