The Manufacturing Engineer, Factory Development will drive process development and improvement projects, manage installation and build projects for new factories, and support problem-solving initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency in manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and buildout of future factories.
- Establish operational standards across the factory.
- Oversee major installation projects and functional factory area designs.
- Take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
- Analyze and resolve complex operational and technical challenges.
- Conduct in-depth technical investigations for root cause analysis.
- Implement long-term solutions to improve factory performance.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role (project leadership preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or another STEM field (or 5+ years of experience in high-intensity production environments).
- Demonstrated success in process/system development in high-growth settings.
- Strong track record in project execution and problem-solving.
- Experience in facility deployment and construction is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Competency in software tools such as SQL, VBA, or Python.
