Responsibilities
- Perform DFM analyses using internal software tools for cost and quality optimization.
- Generate costing models and develop customer-facing proposals based on part technical information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement manufacturing solutions and internal tools.
- Analyze industry data to guide automation technology and manufacturing market decisions.
- Monitor factory performance to optimize software and ensure quality standards.
- Evaluate designs using knowledge of materials and manufacturing terminology for high-quality production.
- Lead impactful projects in a manufacturing role, leveraging CAD tools and GD&T proficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field, or 4+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-intensity production environment.
- 3–4 years of experience in a manufacturing role with a preference for project leadership.
- Proficiency in GD&T and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with CAD tools and translating designs into manufacturable solutions.
- Background in developing and implementing production processes in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with basic software programming (SQL, MATLAB, Python) is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools (CNC machines, sheet metal brakes, lathes) is a plus.
