Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of facility buildouts across electrical, mechanical, and structural scopes.
- Provide engineering design and oversight for critical utilities including HVAC, process gases, chilled water, compressed air, and material handling systems.
- Maintain and update factory layouts in alignment with evolving production requirements.
- Develop scopes of work, manage contractors and vendors, and track performance against project timelines and budgets.
- Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and safety teams for alignment with business needs.
- Oversee compliance with relevant building and safety codes.
- Lead contractor management, cost estimation, and capital project budgeting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Environmental, or Safety Engineering (or related field).
- 5–8 years of experience in facilities engineering with large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and other relevant codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, and project management platforms.
- Demonstrated ability in contractor management and project budgeting.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and facility performance optimization.
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
