Responsibilities
- Lead electrical and controls design for advanced automated manufacturing systems.
- Develop and maintain PLC applications using Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 or Siemens TIA Portal.
- Integrate and commission industrial robots and sensors using various industrial protocols.
- Design and debug control panels to meet industrial standards.
- Create HMI interfaces for automation systems.
- Perform onsite commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices.
Job Requirements
- Expertise in PLC programming and motion control, especially with TwinCAT 3 or TIA Portal.
- Proficiency in robotic systems integration with various platforms.
- Experience designing and commissioning electrical systems to safety standards.
- Strong skills in sensor integration and risk assessments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems using diagnostic tools.
- Experience with high-level programming languages like C# or Python.
- Familiarity with machine vision systems and industrial networking.
