Responsibilities
- Drive and support the mechanical architecture, development, and analysis for new products.
- Responsible for design, analysis, documentation, and functional validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conduct mechanical engineering evaluations and tests to validate product performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Contribute to the development of mechanical tooling and production part qualification.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in developing consumer electronics products, preferably in handheld and mobile devices.
- Proficient in CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of FEA tools like ANSYS and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex mechanical development efforts.
- Problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguous situations and resource constraints.
