Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to define, design, build, and validate products on time while meeting schedule, cost, features, and quality requirements.
- Define, drive, and manage hardware development plans and schedules with multiple engineering and operations teams.
- Work with manufacturing partners and vendors on product development schedules, dependencies, and budgets.
- Collaborate with product design teams to ensure all design and product deliverables are met.
- Manage schedule, cost, performance, and communicate key focus points and next steps with engineering, vendors, operations, quality, and management.
- Synthesize data into a story and communicate to stakeholders and organizations at all levels.
- Travel internationally as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management and hardware manufacturing.
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Knowledge of product life cycles, tools, processes, and operations planning.
- Ability to lead technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors.
- Experience shipping high volume/high quality consumer products.
- Strong communication skills for explaining analyses and recommendations to executives and technical tradeoffs to engineers.
