Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturable and scalable sheet metal and electro-mechanical rack assembly products from concept to mass production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-effective designs and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in supplier technical evaluations and product qualification planning.
- Conduct Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Work with the Product Data Management team to create, review, and approve Bill of Materials (BoM) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
- Support fabrication and assembly for new products at Contract Manufacturers.
- Help resolve issues and implement manufacturing process optimizations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with mechanical design of electro-mechanical assemblies and fixtures.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks) and 2D drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes such as NCT sheet metal, metal stamping, and CNC.
- Excellent technical program management and communication skills.
- Experience assembling electro-mechanical products.
- Familiarity with Product Data Management systems (e.g., Agile, Windchill).
