Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead for mechanical infrastructure in data centers.
- Investigate and lead the development of next-generation mechanical systems.
- Create and develop system-level concepts and detailed construction designs.
- Prepare engineering documents, including analysis reports and design specifications.
- Perform engineering analysis using software tools and collaborate to optimize existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards in mechanical design.
- Communicate recommendations and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction.
- Experience with cooling systems and mechanical infrastructure design.
- Familiarity with ICC codes and relevant engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD).
- Preferred Master's degree or Professional Engineer license.
- Experience in thermal analysis and data center technology.
- Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, and C++.
