Responsibilities
- Review and assist in the evaluation of third-party data center sites for compliance with Google's standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of design documents for accuracy and compliance, developing RAM analyses for performance.
- Support executive level engineering with documentation for presentations and agreements.
- Assist operations with documentation inquiries and improve program standards.
- Collaborate with the team to identify optimization opportunities in engineering programs.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and infrastructure improvements.
- Generate ideas and communicate recommendations to senior-level executives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in Civil/Structural or Site Engineering.
- 4 years of experience in technical due diligence for data center projects.
- 4 years of experience collaborating with cross-discipline teams.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
- Preferred: Master's degree and experience in mission-critical facility systems.
- Strong understanding of large capacity cooling systems and electrical distribution systems.
