Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for mechanical components, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Conduct data analysis on manufacturing performance to identify trends, root causes of defects, and lead process improvement projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., electrical engineers, software developers) to ensure integration of mechanical and automation solutions.
- Perform business case evaluations for new manufacturing technologies and equipment investments, presenting recommendations.
- Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.
- Communicate recommendations to senior-level executives.
- Optimize efficiencies in data center operations and facilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical process engineering and manufacturing automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, and PLC programming.
- Experience in the data center industry or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of robotics, control systems, and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and product quality management systems.
- Strong data analysis capabilities and understanding of business implications.
