Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations of market-available multi-tenant facilities for potential acquisition, conducting technical due diligence and QA/QC reviews.
- Manage power system issues throughout the project life-cycle, ensuring alignment with mission-critical facility requirements.
- Evaluate data center designs based on redundancy levels and availability goals, collaborating on power loading for rack deployment.
- Collaborate with Third-Party Data Center Operations and other teams to deliver electrical solutions for projects.
- Generate ideas and communicate recommendations to senior-level executives.
- Prepare key documentation such as statements of work, TCO analyses, and test plans.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and develop infrastructure improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in electrical distribution systems and mission-critical facilities.
- Experience with power system analysis and engineering software packages.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
- Preferred Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Understanding of US electrical code with IEC standards.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and sequences of operation for electrical infrastructure.
