Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for bus components.
- Gather information on supplier components and existing designs for optimization.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and modify processes and methods.
- Use CAD tools to create and review vehicle components and assemblies.
- Assess designs using analytical tools for performance and durability.
- Support designs throughout their lifecycle, including production launch and customization.
- Work with test engineers to execute test plans and review results.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the engineering industry.
- Familiarity with automotive or heavy-duty vehicle design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX, CREO, SolidWorks).
- Experience with BOM management and component design.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience and product assembly.
- Ability to perform basic finite element analysis (FEA).
