Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for vehicle components.
- Gather information regarding supplier components and existing designs to optimize design concepts.
- Develop action plans based on guidelines and modify processes as needed.
- Use CAD tools to create and review vehicle components and assemblies.
- Assess designs using analytical tools for stress, vibration, and thermal performance.
- Process design releases and manage related documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support designs throughout their lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the engineering industry.
- Familiarity with automotive and heavy-duty vehicle design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX, CREO, or SolidWorks).
- Experience in design for manufacturing and service.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, assembly, and testing.
- Knowledge of suspension geometry and finite element analysis (FEA).
