Responsibilities
- Provides support to technical employees related to the intern's area of study.
- Assists with technical tasks and project support.
- Supports equipment setup and monitors tests and experiments.
- Observes results, collects data, and compiles summaries and reports.
- Learns technical processes and procedures.
- Job shadows experienced professionals or support staff.
- May support the documentation and updates of procedures or work instructions.
Job Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in related Technical courses or within 6 months of graduation.
- Must be enrolled in a technical college or degree-seeking program.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Attentiveness and ability to understand and follow directions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Requires regular movement throughout facilities.
