Responsibilities
- Performs design and development in mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Provides design information for detailing packaging documentation.
- Receives detailed instructions from immediate supervisor.
- Collaborates with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department.
- Works on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- Clear understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
- Proficient with CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Initiative on assignments with the ability to handle increasing responsibility.
