Responsibilities
- Perform system engineering development of radar capabilities for air target detection and tracking.
- Conduct system analysis/trades, develop architectures and algorithms, and generate requirements.
- Develop algorithms and simulation models to assess performance for design reviews.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineering to define computational needs and architecture.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on backlog planning, implementation, and integration/test plans.
- Analyze data from simulations and field tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes or design updates.
- Represent the company at technical and design reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering or related technical discipline with 13-18 years of experience.
- Extensive technical expertise in engineering principles and project leadership experience.
- Experience in Radar Systems, Signal Processing, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in developing systems tools and simulations using Matlab, Python, and/or C.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Desired experience with development tools like Confluence, Jira, and Git, and familiarity with Digital Beam Forming techniques.
