Responsibilities
- Perform thermal-hydraulic stability and safety analyses for BWR plants.
- Support fuel projects, including reload analyses and safety analysis for emergent fuel issues.
- Document and present technical data to customers.
- Contribute to team process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with NRC rules and business quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Seek simple solutions to complex problems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar).
- Experience in BWR thermal hydraulic stability analysis.
- Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements.
- Familiarity with T/H modeling and BWR technology.
- Programming experience (C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proven track record of overcoming challenges.
