Responsibilities
- Create new 3D printing techniques and validate changes in printer architectures.
- Investigate new technologies and tackle complex engineering problems.
- Perform experiments to inform improvements in software or hardware.
- Evaluate printer performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement product enhancements.
- Design and build test fixtures for experiments.
- Analyze data to support design decisions.
Job Requirements
- Experience with experiment design and data analysis.
- Proficiency in programming and scientific computing (preferably Python or Matlab).
- Familiarity with mechanical design, mechatronics, and CAD modeling.
- A degree in an engineering field (B.S., M.S., or PhD).
- A portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
- Bonus: Familiarity with manufacturing and product standards in healthcare or life sciences.
- Bonus: Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials.
