Hardware Systems Engineering Intern (Winter/Spring 2026)

The Hardware Systems Engineering Intern will support the SLA R&D Team by running tests and maintaining the print farm for 3D printers, collaborating with engineers to optimize processes and document findings.

• Run test procedures on SLA printers and log hardware configurations.
• Document secondary observations regarding print quality.
• Ensure organized documentation is provided to engineers during testing.
• Perform hardware modifications to printers for experimental purposes.
• Optimize the SLA Print Farm printing schedule based on urgency and print times.
• Maintain flexibility in schedule to align with print farm requirements.
• Collaborate with team members on projects.

• Hands-on maker with a portfolio of projects.
• Experience using a 3D printer.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage large amounts of data.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Python scripting skills.
