Responsibilities
- Assist in building and modifying prototypes of next-generation 3D printers and accessory equipment
- Fabricate and/or machine simple mechanical parts
- Inspect parts using CMM, calipers, micrometers, and multimeters
- Set up and perform engineering tests
- Create and present various reports, ensuring organized documentation for engineers
- Run test procedures on SLA printers, logging HW configurations and documenting observations
- Collaborate with team members on projects
Job Requirements
- Hands-on DIYer eager to work on state-of-the-art printers
- Portfolio of previous engineering work/projects required
- Experience using a 3D printer
- Ability to manage a high level of detail with large amounts of data
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to interpret technical issues from non-technical explanations
- Familiarity with CAD and prior building experience preferred
