Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of mechanical architects, thermal engineers, and structural engineers.
- Lead mechanical architecture and structural/fluid/thermal analysis of the iron-air battery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and optimize system designs.
- Support design and build activities on pilot and production manufacturing lines.
- Mentor and coach engineering team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure designs meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
- Conduct model validation and correlation for design accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 12+ years of industry experience in hardware product development.
- Experience in analyzing and designing mechanical systems for high-volume manufacturing.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Expert knowledge in thermal or structural analysis techniques.
- Strong mechanical design experience across multiple products.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
