Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel brake, steering, wheel, tire, and suspension concepts.
- Assess and validate manufacturing, assembly, and service feasibility of design proposals.
- Define new design requirements based on regulations and product attributes.
- Design, analyze, build, and test prototypes at component, subsystem, and full vehicle levels.
- Evaluate braking, steering, ride, and handling attributes in production and prototype vehicles.
- Collaborate technically with team members and communicate effectively.
- Utilize 3D modeling software, preferably Catia and 3D Experience.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in the automotive or related field, preferably in EV.
- Strong engineering fundamentals applicable to vehicle systems and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and familiarity with manufacturing and assembly methods.
- Experience in designing, prototyping, and testing mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of chassis systems and vehicle dynamics fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA).
