Responsibilities
- Create HIL test strategies, test cases, and scripts based on requirements.
- Architect and set up HIL for Motor Control, adding plant models for inverter and motor.
- Develop models in Simulink for IPM/PMSM/Induction motors.
- Set up test equipment and conduct hands-on tests.
- Support release testing and bug triaging.
- Identify gaps in requirements and ensure testability.
- Create data acquisition systems for recording test data.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of testing and validation experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of lab instruments (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.) and communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Experience with Powertrain system interfaces.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation or test scripts.
- Familiarity with Motor Controls, Powertrain, and Inverter systems.
- Any software development/programming experience is a plus.
