Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer role at FlightWave involves designing, building, and validating eVTOL drones for defense and public safety applications, requiring hands-on experience in RF, BMS, power/PI, or embedded motor control.

• Own schematics, layout, bring-up, and verification of projects.
• Design, simulate, and debug RF front ends (e.g., radios, filters, antennas).
• Architect regulated power trees and perform PI analysis.
• Implement BLDC/PMSM motor control on MCUs and tune control loops.
• Develop embedded C/C++ firmware for real-time control and diagnostics.
• Drive PCB layout for SI/PI/RF constraints.
• Plan and execute test campaigns and utilize lab equipment for validation.

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Solid foundation in RF, BMS, PCB layout, power/PI, or embedded systems.
• Comfortable with test equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Proficiency with design tools like Altium and MATLAB/Python.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly.
• Additional experience in RF, power/PI, layout, or embedded systems is desirable.
